Professional tips on the product selection of laminate underlayment
1. Walking Noise Reduction: Laminate floors often produce unpleasant
loud noise due to their very hard surface. This type of noise is heard in
the same room and is referred to as walking noise. Walking noise is
influenced to a large extent by the insulating underlayment. Our Economic
White, Super Blue, and Premium Silver products reduce the level of
noise up to a 50% reduction of the sound level.
2. Impact Sound Insulation: Impact sound improvement
calculated according to ISO 140-8 under a 8mm thick
reference floor.
3. Compression Strength: It is essential to lay a compression resistant
underlayment beneath click laminate flooring to
prevent possible damage in the groove and tongue area.
Thjs is the only sure way to ensure that the click connection
is effectively protected even when supporting heavy
pieces of furniture, etc. At the same time, however, our
Super Blue, Premium Silver, and Silent Green products
can also smooth out and compensate for minor sub-floor
irregularities. |
