Where to Use Glass Tiles

Glass tiles, one of the newest and hottest trends in the home décor and design fields right now, has the power to transform a space in a multitude of ways with one simple installation. People always ask, “Where can I use glass tiles?” The answer may surprise you. You can use glass tiles in just about any room in your home!

Kitchen:

By far the most common room in the home to install glass tiles, the kitchen provides the perfect canvas in the form of a backsplash. Backsplashes go on the small piece of wall in between the top of your counter and the bottom of your cabinets. By installing a mesh glass tile backsplash to this area, you can add color or a fun pattern to your kitchen without making any truly permanent (or expensive) decisions. With so many colors, patterns and shapes to choose from, you are sure to find the perfect tile, no problem!

Bathroom:

The second most common room for homeowners to install glass tiles into is the bathroom. Similar to the kitchen, bathrooms often include backsplashes above the counter and below the mirror, adding a bit of color and style to the room. Try adding a backsplash to or around your shower or bathtub as well. Designs range from subtle to bold.

Subtle: Install a simple stripe or two of glass tiles throughout the shower walls to add in some color and a unique design element.

Bold: Use glass mesh tiles as the primary or sole product to cover your walls in the entire shower, making them stylish and waterproof.

Laundry Room:

This room may not come first to mind when talking about glass tiles, okay, it may not come third or even fourth to mind either, but it is an excellent room to add glass tiles to for a few reasons. For starters, glass tiles are a great way to up the style in any space, without making a lot of changes to the space. Secondly, as with the other rooms listed above, glass tiles help protect walls from water (and in the kitchen’s case, grease) damage.

Glass tiles make the perfect accent or focal point in most rooms! Use it as a backsplash in the kitchen, bathroom or laundry room, or go bold and use it in the entire shower. No matter where you choose to use this beautiful product, make sure you use it wisely and choose the best color combination for your space!
